OUR DOCTOR
Optometrist
Dr. Maty Youngewirth, OD
Dr. Maty Youngewirth earned her BS from Brooklyn College in 1996 where she graduated suma cum laude and was chosen to participate in the Phi Beta Kappa society and Golden Key National Honor Society. She then went on to study at SUNY Optometry where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2000. Before graduating she completed an externship in both pediatrics and vision therapy as well as in ocular disease. She has been practicing Optometry full time since graduation in various practice settings including private practice as well as long term care facilities. Her vision as an Optometrist is to provide the highest level of eye care with the most amount of compassion and patience as possible. For now, her free time is occupied by being a mom to her 3 children but she does find time to stay active and healthy by exercising daily. She speaks several languages including Spanish and Hebrew.

Our practice is here to help with all your eye care needs during these trying times.
We are open but to ensure the heath and safety of all patients during the COVID-19 pandemic we only allow one patient in the office at a time and fully sterilize the equipment before and after each use as well as requiring all of our staff to wear protective gear.
